Awards and Success
We measure our success on the satisfaction and success of our clients. We are particularly pleased with awards that demonstrate the commercial viability of High Spa cattle and have been proud of the number of our clients who have achieved success in “the world’s largest carcase competition”, the Suncorp Certified Australian Angus Beef™ Quality Awards – 14 major awards by High Spa and High Spa genetics in 5 years.
Some of our special highlights over the years are as below
2009
- Doing our bit to help educate Australian beef breeders and advance the Australian Angus Beef Industry globally - 20th May, combining with CAABtm to host a visit from chefs and journalists from Japan (see news page for details) - 28th May, Angus Australia & More Beef from Pastures, Regional Group Field Day held successfully at High Spa with 50 attendees.
2008
- High Spa held a successful Spring open day on Sunday, August 24th 2008, independent (but during) Victorian Beef Week. We made this bold move to enable more of our clients, prospective clients and interested persons to be able to come along and participate. For visitors convenience and enjoyment our decision is to continue with the Sunday Spring open day independent of the Beef Week allotted day for our region (unless the allotted day falls as Sunday)
2007
- High Spa held their first Spring Open Day on Saturday August 25th, 2007. A good number of performance recorded bulls and spring calving females, cows and heifers, were purchased by some of the 100 visitors to the inaugural spring event.
